Triangle Hurdle

Triangle Hurdle Terms of Use

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Summary

Triangle Hurdle is made by RopoLabs. You may play it; you may not tamper with the leaderboards or resell the app. Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through Apple, not through us.

1. The licence

Triangle Hurdle is licensed, not sold. Your licence to use the app is Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in full. These terms sit alongside it and cover the service — the leaderboards, the Daily, events, Triangles and accounts — rather than the app itself. Where the two genuinely conflict, Apple’s agreement wins.

2. Playing, and accounts

You do not need an account. The game creates an anonymous identifier on your device the first time you open it, and your play belongs to that. You may create an account — with Sign in with Apple or with an email address — so that your Triangles, purchases and progress follow you to other devices, and you may delete it in the app at any time.

Do not automate the game, modify it, or otherwise send a result you did not achieve by playing the board in the app.

3. The leaderboards

You appear on the leaderboards under a name the game generates for you, or one you choose in Settings: 3 to 16 letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens or underscores, not already taken, and not one our word filter refuses. Do not choose a name that is offensive, that impersonates someone, or that is your real name if you would rather not have it public. We may reset any name.

Results are verified on our server by replaying your moves, and the server — never the app — works out what a board is worth. A result that fails verification is not counted, and we may remove results we have good reason to believe were not honestly achieved. A hint never lowers what a board is worth.

4. Triangles, and what they are not

Triangles are a feature of the game. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be transferred between players, and are not property. They exist only inside Triangle Hurdle, and how many things cost, and what earns them, can change as the game changes.

You earn Triangles in play — on your first visit, from chests, chapter finales and the Daily — and you can buy packs of them. They pay for the hint bulb and for opening a Daily you missed; both can also be had by watching one short video instead.

5. Purchases

Every purchase is one-time; nothing in Triangle Hurdle renews. Packs of Triangles are used up as you spend them. No Ads, All Dailies and Premium are bought once and kept.

Restore purchases, in Settings, brings No Ads, All Dailies and Premium back on any device signed in to the same Apple ID. A one-time purchase belongs to one game account at a time: restoring it on another account moves it there. Restoring never pays out a purchase’s Triangles a second time.

Refunds are Apple’s to give — see refunds. If Apple refunds a purchase, we are told, and what it bought is withdrawn: No Ads or All Dailies is switched off, and the Triangles it paid for are taken back from your balance, though never below zero.

Prices are shown in the app in your own currency, as reported by the App Store, and may change. A price change never applies to a purchase already made.

6. What No Ads, All Dailies and Premium include

No Ads removes the banner and the full-screen ads the game shows between boards, for good. All Dailies opens every past Daily. Premium includes both, together with a pack of Triangles. Videos you choose to watch for a reward — a hint, or a missed Daily — stay available with any of them. You are never required to watch one.

7. The Daily and events

The Daily is one board a day, the same for everyone, and its day is your own local date. What counts on the weekly leaderboard is a Daily solved on its own day; a past Daily solved later is kept in your record but not ranked, and earns no Triangles.

Events are themed chapters that open and close on the dates shown in the app. Points earned in an event count on the Classic leaderboard, and stay yours when the event ends.

8. Availability

The leaderboards, Triangles, purchases and accounts depend on our server. We try to keep it running and we do not promise that it always will be. The boards themselves are made on your device and stay playable without a connection.

We may change or discontinue features. If a change removes something you have paid for, we will say so rather than let it lapse quietly.

9. Ending it

You can stop playing at any time, and delete your account and what our server holds about it — see section 10 of the privacy policy. We may suspend play that breaks these terms, in particular manipulating the leaderboards.

10. Liability

Triangle Hurdle is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, RopoLabs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version is published here. Continuing to play after that means the new version applies.
